Weekend: The Big Bong Theory

Hey guys! 'Sup? I'm well, thanks. Half-way to February eh? I love this month. Well, not because it's the "love" month. It's just that a lot of the people I cherish are celebrating their birthdays this time of the year. So over the weekend, namely Saturday, me and my girls attended a friend's birthday party. Well, nothing much happened while we're there. We just had dinner and we sang throughout the night. But it sure was a fun night.

And just so you know, I really love drinking with my friends. Its like my other way of enjoying my moment with them. But my night didn't end there for nothing. My other friend, Michelle, her cousin, Aaron is celebrating his birthday too that night. He's party was my after party. You get me? Haha! The night was young and there are a lot of people when we arrived home too.

But we we're kinda shy at first so we just stayed inside the house until we were called tho. We rollin' like some VIP waiting to be introduced in a flashy way. Haha! kidding side, 'cause these are people that we haven't seen before. They we're Aaron's college friends. Aaron is five years older than I am and so was his friends. At first, I kinda hesitated 'cause the are serving beer. It's not that I am being picky but I just don't feel like drinking beer AT ALL. But the night goes deeper and deeper and the noise was getting louder and louder than the suddenly brought out the BONG.

I'm pretty sure you've tried this once in your life. Honestly, that night was the first time I've seen such a thing. And thrilled started to eat me. I went out and joined the party. Finally. I started with a bottle of Red Horse. Here in the Philippines, Red Horse is one of the popular drinks, it's rather strong head on. I know myself well enough, I can't take beer head on but I can get down with others. Haha! Screw that! I'm picky with my drinks!

Okay, okay! Enough with all the talking, here are some of the pictures of that night. :)

This is my first time doind this. Sorry, the picture was blurry.

Happy birthday Aaron! (He's the one in green.)

The bong was the sole reason why I wanted to join the fun. Haha! Like I said, I'm not much of a beer drinker. I just got thrilled when I saw a silhouette of them doing it and decided to crash in. Not bragging or what but my friend said that I downed the whole bottle of beer in just 17 seconds. Haha! I was amazed myself too. And everybody was cheering like they know me. Actually the funny part, I was about to try the my second round, (third of them) I felt suddenly nervous. Just out of the blue, I was really nervous. Haha! But I twas a nice experience.

Second Round! And a more clearer shot too!

I know my birthday doesn't fall until June comes but I am starting to get  these wild ideas to do on my day. Haha! 'Cause last year, I did jello shot and now, I'm thinking of doing some Jägerbomb and Beer pong and this Beer Bong too.

Hey! Do you still know anything thrilling that I can try on my birthday? Please help me. Hahaha!

I just love drinking with my friends. Everyday life is really stressing so I gotta let loose sometimes. :) But, please do drink moderately.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

ChocoLove

Yesterday was Valentine's day. And I never thought that I'd be receiving a handful of chocolates! I felt really mushy and felt really special. Why felt special you ask? Well, it's just that I'm not quite the friendliest person around here and I barely get to talk to others so, I was really overwhelmed. Haha!

I'm not much of a chocolate lover too, so I'm kinda troubled how to eat everything. Haha! I hope the expiry date would last forever so I can consume them when I feel like too.

What did you get? How was the day? Share a story. :)
Thanks again!

Weekend Getaway

It's been a week since I last shared something and the negative vibes are eating me (again). Not so good Monday. Ask me why. Not because today is Monday (well, yeah?), it's just that.. I really don't feel well. I can't move much 'cause all the muscles in me are practically cramp, one wrong touch and I might break you neck! Haha! Just kidding. I miss playing soccer and I feel like all my limbs got stiff 'cause I don't have much time to work out 'cause I was kinda busy for the up coming holidays. Speaking of which, I was busy for two whole weekends now. Last week we celebrated my Dad's birthday and this week, me and my homies when on a road trip.

So yeah, the trip was really awesome tho we didn't do much aside from walking, endless photo shoots and laughing the whole time. It's like wherever you are as long as you are comfortable with the people you are hanging with feeling. And just like to getaway from the toxins that the main city gives you. Tell you the truth, I only had like about 3 hours of sleep (I guess?) before this trip. AND definitely not that I'm super excited (really now?) or what? I just didn't get to sleep well that night. Hahaha!

Morning came (Sunday), I got up really early prepped some snacks to bring and head out to my girl Michi's place to meet with the others. I also brought along my little brother, Nikko 'cause he said that he hasn't been there. And an hour later we head south. Destination: City of Tagaytay, Cavite, Philippines.

View from Tagaytay Highlands.

Tagaytay City is a very popular destinations 'cause the weather is not as hot as hell like in the main city where I live. As you can see in the picture above, it also has this really breath talking site, over looking the Taal Lake in Batangas, a very iconic view of the Philippine's Taal Volcano. Actually there are boat ride offers to go near the volcano but we didn't go, we just want to enjoy the place for free. Haha!

As we are traveling going there the movie Twilight kept us company. Our girl, Joan is the first person that I know that haven't seen that movie, ever. And she really is the real deal when it comes to that, good thing I bought along the CD that I just got the night before our trip and my brother played my ever so entertaining, amazing PSP all the way there. XD

My brother Nikko and my girl Joan and the emotionless, Bella Swan. Haha!

First stop is Nuvali. It's located at the province of Laguna still along the way to our destination, Tagaytay. It's a really nice place. Our "Dad" Tito Arnel visits the place very often and showed us a little, there you can shop, biking, eat or just ease your mind away from the city. There you can also see, well I think its a man made lagoon with huge amount of Koi Fish. After lurking around for an hour, we continued our way to Tagaytay. And like an hour and half we arrived at our destination.

First on the list was the ever famous People's Park or better known as the "Picnic Grove". The place has lots and lots of pine trees and just the typical forest place, somewhat like the Twilight (movie) forest scene that you can see. Haha! I too visit Tagaytay once in a while, the last time I was there was like around August 2010 (if my memory serve me right tho) for my Auntie's birthday celebration. Back then I tried the zip line. It was fun 'cause my Auntie was really freaked out. So this time, I let my lil bro have that experience too.

Oopsie... The picture are kinda small 'cause my cam's been program for Instagram like photos. Imma change it next time. :P

Next is lunch, I didn't eat anything that day yet tho we packed food enough for like an over night trip. Haha! I was really looking forward for lunch 'cause Tagaytay has that rather cold weather so eating hot dishes is the best. And I don't mean spicy by the words hot, boiling hot is what I meant by that. But we have to travel like 30 minutes away from the Picnic Grove just to get there. Also we have to wait for the very "slow" service as well.  But I guess, it's worth the waut. We ate at Green ATS Restautant, another favorite place of Tito Nel when he and his colleagues are there. We had the Bulalo (Knee cap) with filing, Tawilis (a fish that can only be seen in the province of Batangas), some stir fry veggies and Coconut juice and meat for dessert.

Like my y brother said that the food was awesome but the service kinda sucks. Okay, after stuffing our rather hungry stomachs we went for another long drive, spending our time at church named Caleruega. You can check Caleruega Church in Nasugbu, the  province of Batangas. The place has a tag line saying "Close to Nature, Closer to God". It's like a super good place to mediate and to recollect all your thoughts.

Stair way to heaven? Haha!

And after the church visit we head home. Still the installment movie New Moon of the Twilight Saga kept us really company in the middle of the head-aching traffic. BUT! This trip won't be complete without out personal favorites those "epic"jump shots that we really really love. So here are some of the crazy shots that my cam captured.

Left, is was an awesome timing that Janelle was underneath Nikko when I took this shot. Above, was out first shot, we were at Nuvali then. Below, was at the Caleruega church. Right, and my god-daughter Janelle was really cute here.

True! IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!

My weekend was another blasting moment that would be forever etched in my memory. Hey! What about yours, I'd like to hear your weekend story. :)

Thank for reading.

Yes Boss!!

Hey guys. It's been sometime since I shared something. I don't feel the usual lazy, 'cause I feel SUPER lazy, I mean to the highest level. *yawn* Geez. I lack the motivation again. Actually, I came to work 5 minutes late; so that adds to the super lazy feeling of mine. It's a total bad-trip 'cause I never thought that I would be late, thanks to traffic of course! SIGH.

Okay, enough of the hatred. I just had my snack with one of my favorite person, My Lalic. We've been friends since college days, we've been through ups and downs of course, if you know us by afar we both totally have a big contrast in personality but no matter what we still remain very good friends. See, we're always troubled thinking what to eat for snack. The place where we work doesn't have much to offer when it comes to food so we always end up dinning at the same old restaurant over and over and over. But today, we decided to go something different, we headed to Pancake House.

Pancake House has always been a favorite of mine, especially their chicken lollipop. If I remember it correctly, I was so head over heels with it. Okay, for today's menu; Lalic tried the Ham and Cheese Omelet, it has yes the ham and cheese omelet, 2 triangular toasted bread, butter and a little salad. I had the Grilled Cheese (don't we just love cheese? Haha!) it's basically melted cheese sandwich in a toasted bread cut into two and a couple of pineapples and pickles on the side and an ice cream shaped potato salad. It was the bomb! It stuffed up to death! *two thumbs up* and the price is... just okay. :)

Snack date with my Lalic. :)

Okay, so the good mood has been redeemed. Now, I'd like to brag something more personal. Haha! Today, it the birth date of a man who's very dear to me. He was the boy to held me so gently. The first person who made me smile and laugh like crazy. He's the first person to brag the world about me. The first person who called me "my precious". He may not talk much but his words definitely reaches me. He may not be there at all times but I know that he supports me all the way. I'm talking about my Dad guys. Haha! I just want to tell the whole wide universe that I am one lucky person to have such an amazing dad.

Me, my Awesome Dad and the late Whooper (he died like two month ago, he's a chocolate colored Labrador)

He may not be the richest person in the world but he surely did give us everything that he worked hard for. And he also gave me that one thing that no one could every take away from me and that is my knowledge. And of course he's also the wackiest person next to me. I just notice, as my dad ages he spends more time with us now. Not like when we were still kids, he's always out working, saving for our schools fees and stuff. Now that most of his kids can stand up quite firmly, he's just still there continually guiding and reminding us of the does and don't of life. He also enjoys joking a lot with us now. Sometimes when he's really in the mood to fool around he even calls us boss and we ask him to do short errands like "Dad, get me a glass of water." "Get my bag." Buy me this and that." Haha! It's so much fun, really.

I also learned a lot from this guy. He knows how hard life is but he never gave up all for our sake. He's one of my inspiration why I am working my ass out. It's more than a blessing knowing this kind-hearted person. Of course there are times that he gets mad at us. O-M-G. Haha! I suddenly had a flash back when he gets angry as if he was hulk to go ballistic. Haha!

Shh! You know what, I didn't greet him today. Hihi! For sure, he's crazy mad about this. Actually, me and the rest of the fam are planning to throw him a birthday bash this coming Saturday, so I really can't wait for it. Don't worry, I'll tell you all the details next week. Sigh. Surely, time flies when you are having fun.

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, NO MATTER WHAT. :)

Now, you know my super dad. Tell me a story of your super dad too. :)
Thanks for reading.

Amen.

Hey guys. Happy Feel Good Friday. :) Me and my friends just finished our mini fellowship meeting. And I really feel good about it. I'm no holy person but I'm pretty sure that I have a very big God backing me up all the time. I don't know much about the practices of faith but I do know how to communicate with Him. Some people "might" find it boring but I do love having such conversation. Actually this is the first time that we've done this here at the office, and I am hoping that it will last long.

So, today we had a conversation about the ups and downs of our lives. I'm pretty sure that most of us had these kind of things as well. As ya'll know, I'm the kinda person who can have the world with one go ever since I was a little girl. But little did you know I had hardships too. Hardships that I never thought that I would ever encounter in my life. One time, went my GDaddy died. I was only about 10 years old, I think? It so sudden. One Sunday we were out at the restaurant; having our favorite meal so happy and the next day he was rushed in the hospital and then the next day he was announced dead. Just imagine how heart breaking that moment for me. GDaddy was a lawyer so he can give everything that his family hoped for. I was the first grandchild so I was his favorite. I was treated like a princess when he was alive, I could have everything I laid eyes on in just a point of a finger. GDaddy influenced me so much that I wanted to be a lawyer like him too but all of those died when he left.

Uzumaki Mito, Young Tsunade and the First Hokage Senju Hashirama

A lot of things changed since then. I'm very sure God used GDaddy's death to open my eyes and change for the better. Fairy tales only do exist in books. But I'm really happy with everything now. It's all because I have a very dependable God that never left my side. And it just feels so good to build great friendship with the people you work with everyday, and to get to know more of who they are and to grow together in the aspect of faith.

I pray that ya'll have a wonderful life no matter what happens. Have a safe weekend guys.
And again, thanks for droppin by. :)

Ta-da!

What up guys? Today, I feel soooo super alive! Haha! I got triple surprises! And there is not place for being bored to death or being lazy for today. So late last night, as ya'll know I have some kind of deprive sleep disease called insomnia which keeps me up 'til dawn if I don't really fall asleep, so while waiting for the dream fairy to blow me some sleep dust, I went online; just the usual thing, exchanging emails with my cousin, looking some new videos on Youtube and checking new feeds on facebook.

Ya'll remember my super generous Aunt from my entry yesterday? The one that will hook me up with some Jeremy Scott American Flag Wings 2.0? Well, she just happens to ask me to visit her and the fam over there at Austria. I'm thrilled beyond my imaginations! REALLY! Haha! At first, I thought that it was just some kind of joke but it wasn't. I found real evidences at GMom's phone. Oh yes! I do read other people's conversations. Hohoho!! Okay so getting back to the story, she wanted us, me and GMom to go there by either summer there some what July-August or December. I said, I wanted to go there by winter season but I remembered the weather and GMom of course, she might get sick since it's so freezing to death there. Summer? Hmm? Isn't it ironic that I live in a super tropical country like the Philippines and go abroad just to experience what summer like is there? Hahaha! It's really hilarious!

The second surprise was, my baby boy and his band said that they will release a new repack album with 4 new songs in it! I gots to have it! Haha! I can't wait!

UxMishi from Kaichou-wa Maid-Sama

Eh-hem! Okay, that was a very selfish surprise. Just got carried away guys. Sorry. Haha! XD Okay for the last treat. I woke up kinda earlier than the usual, wondering what to blog about and in the middle of my air headness, GMom gave me this....

*wide eyes* GASP! Another surprise from my super generous Auntie! Really feeling the love all the way from Austria. I just proved not only to myself but the whole world, that no matter how much time had pass us by, and no matter how things were to changed for the better, I'd still be her baby. Aww! *teary eyes* Hohoho! Gosh. I feel so loved these days. Haha! See? Told ya, just be patient and love with just come without any notice or whatsoever. Sigh. Oh my. This feeling is so heady. :)

Just so you know guys: I'M NOT HIGH MAINTENANCE kind of person, it just so happened that there are people around me that can give me the world. Haha!

Enough with the bragging! XD What made your day guys? Tell me, I'd super love to know.
Again, big thanks to ya'll! :)

NATURO: It's not JUST anime.

Today, when I woke up, and the first thing that came out of my mouth was "I'm bored." I really don't know why I said that in the first place but as time passed by, I realize that yes; I feel bored all the time as if my life has no direction, path, light or whatever you wanna call it. Lately, I've been having this feeling that I'm just a tasteless food that no one dares to touch. Sigh. And I know myself too well, and thinking that it's one of those days that I feel really, really depress with no certain reason at all.

That awkward feeling that you get when you don't want to talk to anybody, and you just want to be alone until you feel better, or that feeling that you wanted put up like 20,000 layers of barrier to isolate yourself from the rest of the world. Yeah, I get that feeling a lot actually. What about you? I hope that you don't have the same disorder (Wow. Did I really said that? Hmm?!) as I do.

Okay so the feeling goes on, took a bath hoping that I would feel a little better but it seems like it has no effect after all. After preparing myself, I fired up my mean machine; first check facebook (OF COURSE, DUH?!) And saw a post there for Uzumaki Naruto. You know what super hit manga/anime nowadays. I such a fan of it, REALLY. :)

Naruto manga, cover page.

The post was about his birthday. It made me smile and a sudden flash back came in. Traveling memory lane all of a sudden and it came to me,  how it inspired me to strive and work hard for those people I treasure the most just like him. As I was looking at some photos in the net, I saw this..

Fouth Hokage Namikaze Minato, Uzumaki Kushina and baby Naruto.

It made me realize, how blessed I was having both my Mom and Dad and a handful of siblings by me all the time. Naruto never met his father and mother until the age of 16 (I think?). His parents died protecting him and their village from the rampaging Nine Tailed Demon Fox.

Honestly, there are times that I get mad at how "stupid" my parents can be at times but it was also a way to let me know  how they love me. Talking the role of both Mom and Dad is no joke, they will sacrifice so much just to give you the world. This manga/anime always reminds me of that.

Minato and Kushina protecting Naruto from the Nine Tailed Demon Fox. Anime and Manga.

And I came back to my senses, I've always thought of myself as a bridge, a bridge that would be strong enough to with stand all the adversities that may come or block the way and a bridge that would help connect my love ones with their dreams. Do I sound mushy? Hehe. *scratch head* Well, what can I do? That's what I feel.

Really, big thanks to Naruto and all his effort I can now have a brighter day. Haha!

And I'm pretty sure if Kushina and Minato were still alive by now, they would be soooo damn proud of what their son, Naruto has achieved. I know, Naruto is just some fictional character but he was made for a purpose, to serve as an entertainment and to be an inspiration to others. Thank you Naruto-Kun. And today, I would just like to greet you a happy HAPPY BIRTHDAY. :)

The "bestest" birthday ever. :)

What gives you inspiration? I wanna know. Thanks! :)

Weekend: SunDATE

Sigh. Weekends are one of the best days ever. I usually sleep on those days, 'cause that's (probably) the only day that I have for myself. And sometimes I also spend my weekends with friends, chilling, watching movies, pigging out and just plain out chat time while having a drink or two. Also weekends are super essential for families, sample just like me and my fam, everyone goes to work or to school so I barely get to see them during weekdays. And this weekend, I decided to stay at my other house (yes, I have two houses like that, harhar!) Saturday, we just to soccer class; 'cause my cousins are studying and practicing and church and grocery. Boring right? Haha! I know 'cause that's my Auntie's gig.

Here's the real deal. Yesterday, my GMom and I went to the mall and spend just some cash. *wink Haha! We had a super late lunch at Bon Chon. After grabbing a grub we then went to the sale. Yahoo! My super favorite part EVER!

Guys, honestly now; don't you just love sales? *Eyes shine* YES! See? Now you know how I feel! This is one of the best times that I can make it rain like a celebrity. Actually, it's been two straight weeks that I'm at the malls. And yes, I bought my beloved shoes. Sigh. :)

Surely pink and purple really goes together well. Nike Air, Idk what style but I like it!

Adidas, Idk the style either but I feel comfortable in them.

I got these babies like in a neat price that saved my sweet ass in being blacklisted in the banks. Haha!

I must say, if you'r so into shopping like I am, why not wait for the nearest sale in the malls near you, just be updated so if you are to spend a 'huge" amount of money in one thing why not get a thing or two in half the price? Yes? Better. It was really fun shopping, stress buster as always! But cash robber too! Harhar! So shop wisely mates!  :)

 A-okay! Satisfied consumer, that I am. :)

How did you spend your weekend? :) Thanks for droppin by.

A Taste of Korea

Hey. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. Spend some quality time with my brothers and sisters. Honesty, we all have different lives, friends and interest now so we don't get to hang out that often. But over the weekend, I had the chance to sit back and relax with them.

Over the weekend, my phone reminder rang to remind me that my shopping card dues to get the points so I quickly pact and went out. I was with my younger brother and my other sister left to meet up with her best friend. I was just thinking that this would be a really quick errand but it turn to be more fun vat the end. After attending to some errand, I decided to ask my brother where he likes to eat, he mentioned a certain restaurant that we always eat but I don't feel like eating there and suggested that we try something different and we end up eating at Bon Chon.

My little brother whom I named, Nikko. :)

Long before I started working as an English Secondary Language tutor, I've been friends with Koreans that I often meet in church. The are so famous for their Kimchi, its fermented cabbage in pepper paste.

Okay, as I was saying; here are the goods that we ordered. Hope you like it too. And do try it as well. It was so stuffing, delicious and at a reasonable price too. :)

I had this, Chop Rice box. Two pieces of chicken whether you like it in spicy or soy garlic. I'm so adventurous that I tried the spicy and it was SPICY! LOL And this comes with a drink, choose from soft drinks or iced tea at 145Php.

One of my favorite is the Japchae, stir fried sweet potato noodles only at 75Php.

Nikko had Crispy Squid Rice box 145Php

My sister, Xhieng had Fish Rice box meal at 145Php

And for desert we tried the Ko-Yo, or the Korean Yorgurt. We picked these 'cause all of use had the spicy meals. Not only that it was good, it kills the heat as well.

 Blueberry Torte at 75Php

 Banoffee Pie at 75Php

I had a great time hanging out with them, And we got super stuffed after.Nothing beats a good meal and a good relationship, Yes? :)

**NOTE: So sorry for the so low quality pictures, I took those using my Nokia E63.
